Our different wine tours

Wijntour: Barolo – Italy (64 km)

Alba – Grinzane Cavour – Serralunga – Monforte – Barolo – La Morra

The Barolo-route – preferably the starter – takes you past 11 wijn producing villages with the possibility to visit the interactive wine museum Wi Mu, the corkscrew museum Museo Cavatappi, attend a grissini workshop at the artisanal bakery and off course wine tasting in the most historic wine cellars. Enjoy the panoramic view from the Belvedere point in La Morra and the midieval setting of Castello Grinzane Cavour. Top of this tour is your introduction to truffles because you are going to taste them in Alba, black/white truffles in the form of all kinds of products that are prepared by hand.

Wine tour: Barbaresco – Italy (60 km)

Alba – Neive – Barbaresco – Mango – Trezzo Tinella – S.Rocco Seno d’Elvio

The Barbaresco route takes you past a chapel that houses a wine cellar where you can enjoy its characteristic wine, past Neive where you will find the most beautiful slow food shop with a terrace to enjoy the local specialties in a magnificent way, and past many other attractive locations. The Barbaresco is made entirely from Nebbiolo grapes and is grown in a small rural area to the east of the town of Alba, which includes San Rocco Seno d'Elvio, a municipality of Alba as well as the villages of Barbaresco, Neive and Treiso.

Slow Food in this tour: you will visit the mama's of Barbaresco, whose mission it is to continue the traditions of the region on a daily basis. If you want to experience a cooking workshop, this is the right place for you.

Wine tour: Roero – Italy (92 km)

Alba – Guarene – Castellinaldo – Canale – Montà – Monteu Roero – Baldissero – Monticello – Pollenzo – Cherasco – Verduno

The Roero, the third of the Nebbiolo wines, is produced in an area less well known than Barolo or Barbaresco. During this tour you will drive through landscapes that will amaze you with their diversity. Among many other beautiful experiences, you will pass through the vineyards of Castellinaldo and Canale, the forests of Monteu and Baldissero and the hills of Cherasco and Verduno. You will get to know the country where the slow food and its philosophy originated.  Slow Food in this region means: visiting a cheese shop with the highest number of cheese varieties and this in a setting of 1950, also a Pasticceria (chocolate Tonda Gentile) where you taste Baci di Cherasco in a setting of 1880.  The pastry chefs are comparable to the highest level of professionalism in Belgium. You will taste 8 different varieties.

You can extend your wine tour with among other things:

-  a three day tour in the Monferrato region &  Alto Piemonte

You will stay in an idyllically situated agriturismo with a perfect dose of authenticity and its own restaurant where slow food takes first place.
During these three days you will make very interesting visits such as to the winery Cantina del Signore, where Gattinara sets the main tone. You will also visit Rovellotti, where Ghemme is their showpiece.
And of course you will pay an extensive visit to the top of the Monferrato region - Vicara - where you will be introduced to autoctono wine varieties such as Barbera and Griginolino. These three wineries are totally different entities one from the other.

-   also possible: spending one day and night in Turin

You will spend your last night & day in Turin and can determine what you want to experience depending on your interests.
Are you a slightly hungry culture freak? Then take your time for Eataly, for the historic cafes, for a few beautiful churches, palazzi, alleys, old shops with tastings.
A big hunger for culture? Then you will enjoy Palazzo Madame, Palazzo Reale, Mole Antonelliana, Museo Egizio, etc....
Or if you want to keep the church in the middle, you can visit the Juventus museum together with the Museo dell'Auto (a must for every car lover). Even if the visit was suggested by their partner the ladies will be surprisingly charmed as well by the decorative approach of this museum and will definitely not be bored.
